On April 24, 2021, the III Republican Contest-Festival of Musical Art «Zhas STAR» was held on the basis of the Aktobe Music College named after A. Zhubanov within the framework of the cultural and educational project «Zhubanov Meetings». The contest was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The competition was attended by over 80 participants in the following categories: solo piano, piano ensemble, additional piano. Age categories from 6 to 25 years and older.
The jury of the competition consisted of competent and authoritative musicians of the region. Chairman of the jury-head of the project «Zhubanov meetings», director of the Music College named after A. Zhubanov, cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan-Ismagulov A.D.

Laureate of international and national competitions, piano teacher and concertmaster of the Aktobe Music College named after A. Zhubanov-Kozhanbaeva B.K. The competition was held at a high professional level. The participants were awarded with diplomas, medals and commemorative cups.
On April 3, 2022, within the framework of the cultural and educational project Zhubanov Meetings, the IV Republican Competition of Young Pianists dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Rosa Akhmetovna Zhubanova was held at the Aktobe Music College named after A.Zhubanov. More than 100 participants of the Department of special Piano and piano training of other specialties took part in the competition. The contestants were divided into several age groups from 6 years to 26 years. The participants of the competition were students of the city Palace of schoolchildren, CMS and CSI of the city and region, as well as students of the Aktobe Music College named after A.Zhubanov, Kyzylorda Higher Music College named after Kazangap, Ural Music College named after Kurmangazy.
