  • Department of Russian Folk Instruments

                The task of the Russian folk instruments Department, which opened at the Aktobe Music College named after A. Zhubanov, was one of the first to always train highly qualified musicians: teachers of music schools, accompanists, artists and leaders of the folk instruments orchestra.           

    The first teachers of the department were V.A. Pchelintsev, E.K. Grots, B.I. Mushenok, S.F. Peshkov, its first head. Their baton was continued by V.M.Tyantov, I.G.Novitsky, F.M.Dyusmetov, Yu.M.Gafurov, V.A. Glazkov, V.A. Zharkov, N.T.Churakova, Yu.S. Minogin, V.A. After graduating from the Astrakhan State Conservatory, his graduate E.F. Ivanov returned to his native school. And finally, the next generation of former students who have returned to college already teachers with a conservatory education include M.M. Habirova, N.F. Russu, T.K. Idrissov. In 1990-2001, through the efforts of V.A. Perov, there was a class of classical guitar.

                Since the beginning of the 21st century, the game of accordion and accordion was taught by F.M. Dyusmetov, who headed the department from 1998 to 2007, and S.P. Mitrokhin, who returned to college after graduating from the Almaty State Conservatory, named after Kurmangazy and completed an assistant internship at this educational institution. Later, accordionist A.B. Abdrakhmanova joined them.

                Over the years of the department’s existence, more than 200 accordion players, accordionists and guitarists have graduated from it.

             Since 2007, Russian folk instruments have been part of the branch of Kazakh folk instruments. Graduates of the Kazakh National University of Arts and the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy A.M.Abishova, T.S. Burkishov, and A.E.Yelubay.

    Bayanists and accordionists who graduated from college teach in all institutions of additional education, play in various concert organizations. A. Yermekbaev, a graduate of the Russian folk instruments department, who organized a chamber orchestra at the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic Society named after G. Zhubanova in 2003 and is his artistic director and conductor, continued his education at the Kazakh National Kurmangazy Conservatory and its assistant internship, became a master of pedagogical sciences, a member of the Union of Composers and received the title “Excellence in culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
