On May 13,  in the assembly hall of the  Musical college named after A.Zhubanov was held  anniversary concert dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the department of wind and percussion instruments . The anniversary concert is a summing up of such a long creative path of the team and the entire department: the history of creation, the first teachers and students.  Several generations of students entered the world of art and music through the brass department. Subsequently, they began to work in cities in creative collectives, and also successfully continue to teach in music schools and music colleges around the world. On this solemn day, the staff of the department of wind and percussion instruments accepted congratulations and wishes from officials, colleagues and graduates for their huge contribution to musical and educational work.  The organizers have prepared a rich musical program. The program included works by Soviet and foreign composers performed by a student brass band conducted by B.D. Duisenbaev, ensembles and soloists. The audience was so impressed with the concert that they were in no hurry to leave the  assembly hall after the end of the orchestra.
