The Department of General Education has a special place in the college. On the one hand, it performs an additional function in the education of musicians, on the other-the main work on the formation of a fully and harmoniously developed personality, which is the main purpose of education.

            When a music school opened in Aktyubinsk in 1971, the personnel issue became acute – after all, as you know, it is the personnel who solve everything. As teachers of special disciplines, which for a long time were not enough, graduates of conservatories from all corners of the Soviet Union were invited. But since the school enrolled 9 grades, teachers of general education disciplines were also required to fully master the program of the ten-year school, the recruitment of which at the pedagogical institute available in the city was less difficult. At the same time, the first director of the school K.U. Kozhanbayev conducted an interview with them.            Initially, a cycle commission of general education disciplines arose. Its leader T.N. Vyatchinova, who taught English, was remembered as an extraordinary person, distinguished by determination, perseverance, and the ability to defend the interests of the department. The Russian language and literature was taught by M.H. Shyntasova, the favorite teacher of many college graduates, who invested his whole soul in the education of the young generation of musicians. And now Malika Khakimovna, the winner of the medal of Y. Altynsarin, continues to be a wise mentor to young teachers and an honored guest of all solemn events in college.   In addition, many students remembered the interesting lessons of the Russian language and literature of E.A. Imansu, the rigor and scientific approach in the classes of history and law of S.D. Menteshashvili, the kindness and understanding of the teacher of physical education S.P. Lyalyak, the benevolence and prudence of G.K. Kozhanbayeva in the lessons of the German language. Men also contributed to the development of the department and college as a whole: mathematician S.G. Gabdrakhmanov, chemist J.M. Imankarin, who taught initial military training V.K. Doroshin, historian I.M. Kharitonov.

            Later they were joined by the teacher of physical education S.I. Kaliberd, the teacher of history N.E.Yesengarayev and N.N.Morgunova. More than a quarter of a century taught German soft and attentive to colleagues and students G.M. Sailibayev.

1990s

            A special place in the history of the college is occupied by the deputy director for educational work A.D. Dabylova, awarded the medal of Y. Altynsarin, who taught pedagogy from 1991 to 2017.

            Thus, the foundation of the department gradually developed, which is based on a democratic style of leadership and a tearful attitude to the personality of the musician.

The traditions of the older generation in 1990-2000 were continued by such bright professionals as A.A. Tauzhanova, who remained in the memory of colleagues and graduates a cheerful and kind person. Her classes in the Kazakh language and literature were remembered for a long time by students.

            Currently, a physical education teacher A.S. Bormotov is working at the department of general education disciplines, who has developed a special training methodology taking into account the peculiarities of musicians, which includes elements of shaping and swimming. Initial military training for many years was led by A.G. Mirnov, who made a huge contribution to the patriotic education of young people.

            The head of the department since 2000 A.U. Baizhanova successfully teaches the younger generation of history, constantly developing and respecting the personality of each student. K.S.Tanalyeva, teaching the Kazakh language and literature, thereby instills respect for national culture, knowledge of the traditions and customs of the people. Interest in the Russian language and literature awakens A.S. Kausheva, expanding the outlook of pupils. It would seem that rational mathematics and physics – subjects far from emotional musicians – are nevertheless subject to them under the leadership of B.J. Dosmagambetov.

            The young and energetic I.A.Mukhambetkaliyeva, who taught English, psychologists A.S. Balturin, M.K. Turmagambetova, M.E. Zhapalova and G.K. Zholda, a social educator and teacher of English, left their mark on the history of the department. A.A. Andakulova, geographer G.A. Isagalieva, teacher of computer science Zh.K. Yerzhanovа.

            Part-time workers of different years, such as S. S. Ismagulova, G. S. Zhaksylykova, D. Satenova, G. Kukesheva, A. Imanbayeva, K. T. Zhamankulova, M. K. Abdigaliyev, also contributed to the training of specialists. T. T. Urazgaliev, M. T. Utegaliyeva, Zh. Darimbetov, K.S. Ispanova, A. K. Alieva, K. M. Yesetova, G.T.Darmenov, A.G. Nezhdanov.

            Currently, the department is a friendly team of like-minded people, where, along with the older generation, creative and enthusiastic young teachers work along with the older generation: A.A. Meirkhanova leads self-knowledge, N.M. Zhetembayeva – English, Zh.A. Kaliyev teaches initial military training and law, M.M.Sydykov and A.M. Rsbayev – physical education; G.S. Kurkbasova is engaged in Psychology, A.K. Salimanova – Chemistry and Biology, A.Zh. Zhailkhan – teacher of Political science, Faizullin S.E. – Informatics.

            Teachers, along with students, are actively involved in all college and city activities. These are holidays, various actions, creative contests, debates, intellectual games, trainings, conferences, open lessons, seminars, concerts, sports competitions, Olympiads in subjects, etc. And, as a result, college students become winners of many competitions of city, regional and republican scale.
