2021 year
Mastering the piano is not an easy task for students, who naturally devote most of their study time to studying a special instrument. And nevertheless, despite the objective difficulties, many of them show great interest in piano lessons and achieve significant success, becoming winners of various competitions; take an active part in college concerts.
The teachers of the department organize various events, trying to interest and engage students, to open them a huge world of music. These are thematic and cool concerts, competitions with a diverse and wide repertoire – from arrangements of folk songs to jazz compositions, from classical works to popular music, including vocal and instrumental works to develop the skills of ensemble music playing and accompaniment.
In order to enrich the repertoire, V.M. Yemelyanova published a collection of piano arrangements, including four-handed ones, designed for the students of the department. These are arrangements of Kazakh folk songs and works of composers of Kazakhstan, among which special attention should be paid to the appeal to “Tajik Dances” by A. Zhubanov, dedicated to the 100th anniversary, and to “Kazakh Dances”, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the composer.

Kopyto, S.A. Veryasova, with wind players – Z.G. Zhazykbayeva, M.E. Shevchenko, vocalists are accompanied by S.V. Bogacheva, S.B. Tlemisova and G.N.
