Opening of the department of folk singing in Aktobe Music College named after A.Zhubanov.
The department of folk singing in Aktobe Music College named after A.Zhubanov opened on the initiative of director Vladimir Fomenko Nikiforovich in 1997. And the first teacher of this department was Myrzabaeva Sveta. The first students were Bibigul Zhaskelenova, Nurlan Abdibekov, Kalzhanova Laura and Sarina Zhanar. Graduates of the department Zhanabay Utegenov and Daniyar Sagindaev now engaged in singing folk and pop direction. Due to the increase in the number of students in 2004, to the department was hired Utegaliev Kurmangaly Sergazyuly, the first student of Garifula Kurmangaly. Since those years, Kaydar Utegaliev Sergazyuly promoted the class of folk singing and trained many singers. They are Venera Karzhaubaeva, who is currently performing at the Department of Folk Singing at the Kurmangazy National Conservatory; Mukanova Manshuk and Shynarbaeva Dinara sing at the regional philharmonic named after Gaziza Zhubanova; Sattarova Umit teaches folk singing at the P. Tchaikovsky College in Almaty. Sveta Myrzabayeva transferred to the University of arts in Nur-Sultan in 2004. From 2004 to 2006 Kaydar Utigaliev continued to teach. In 2006, Sarkytbaeva Gaziza, a graduate of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy in Almaty, was accepted as a teacher in the class of folk singing in Music College named after A. Zhubanov. And from 2007 to 2008, Zhanat Zholdybayeva took the post of teacher.
In 2009, an honorary education worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan and laureate of numerous international competitions Amanbaeva Gulmars Zhumabekovna was accepted into the class of folk singing as a teacher. Since these years, the number of teachers has increased significantly. In particular, they are Kasymov Zhasulan, Kosanova Ainur and Kabylov Dastan who was the finalist of the Republican project “I am Kazakh”.
Abilhasanov Nurpeys received the Grand Prix in the Republican competition “An Kainary-Ken Zhyloy”. Today Kabylov Dastan and Abilhasanov Nurpeys teach in the class of folk singing. Meyirkhan Nurzhan received the Grand Prix at the international festival “Shabyt”, laureate of the VII Republican Competition named after J. Elebekov. Now he works in the Philharmonic of the city of Nur Sultan. Tobagabylova Akbota received the Grand Prix in the competition “Aimakty Anmen Terbet”. Mizamov Kenesary is a laureate of the competition “Ken Zhyloy”. Alpysbaeva Asiya is a laureate of the competition “Aymakty Anmen Terbet”. To date, more than five teachers work in the folk singing class. Cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.P. Kaluova is a Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Today 22 students are studying in the Folk Singing Class.
